Electroslag Remelter is used for remelting of special alloy steel While the powerful current flows through the high resistant slag pool, it shall generate powerful heat energy and melt down the tip of electrode (i.e the metal to be remelted), the melted drops sufficiently contact with the slag with high temperature and high basicity and, violent metallurgical reaction between melted metal and slag is then occurred, as a result, the melted metal is to be refined to more clean steel
